if you're someone who appreciates some good animation, i totally recommend this! this movie is a sweet rom/com with a supernatural twist. this movie will make you smile, cry, and have you sit in awe at the ethereal detail of the animation. 9/10!
today was the very first day of gwc's sip! i was nervous yet excited at first because i didn't know anything about coding, but i was excited to learn. to my surprise, i felt at ease throughout the introduction portion and enjoyed learning about my fellow peers during the breakout rooms. while i was confused when first learning about html, the difficulty was soon replaced by excitement and joy as i started to get the hang of coding in html! i can't wait for what more this program has in store:)
today we learned about CSS: Cascading Style Sheets which is used to style and format a website! again, i ran into some trouble, but i was able to work through it and make this website!
today we shared our personal websites! it was kind of nerwracking because i knew my website wasn't completed and nowhere near my ideal look, but everyone was so supportive and lifting each other up! one part i like was this session of "glows and grows" where you give compliments and constructive critcim! Then, we jumped into a mini lesson of javascript, which honestly left me confused! But, one exciting this is we started planning to make a buzzfeed inspired personality quiz!! super siked:3
today, we learned more about javascript: still confused, but worked my way through it and took some extra time to try and understand it better using HQ! i feel like html and css syntax was easier to remember, but i'll do my best to get myself more acquainted with js. and... i made a personality quiz today!! i personally am really happy with the way it turned out. if i were to do more, i'd try to center things using flexbox... but i still think i've accomplished a lot today! also, i came back to working on my personal website and finally got flexbox to work on 2/3 pages of the site!!! yay progress!
